Guys Im new to the game but it seems my 'Ping'rate is too high for some people. They have asked me to go away and get if sorted before returning.
When I play it averages around 300-400, whilst others are at 40's etc.
I play via a 56k modem...Please help with any suggestions that can assist in reducing it...desperate..

Get rid of your dial-up. Too slow and slows the whole game for everyone. There are service providers that can do "tandem" connections if you have 2 phone lines and two modems.
