hello, i just started using the editor,it's kinda simple.
But i can't apply textures! all i see in the editor is red replace me texture.. i've read the documentation and it dont seem to tell...
because i can see threes,grass,soldiers,everything i want,but the island stay plain red,i didn't try ingame but in the editor it is like that.

Please help!

Did you get the new version of the docs? Check the sticky notes at the top of this forum.

On page 15, in the walkthrough, it tells how to apply textures.

The first chapter explains how textures are applied, and in the updated documentation there is a walkthrough to help you with this. If you have followed the instructions, then make sure that you have selected the Generate Surface Texture option from the File menu, otherwise the selected textures will not show.

I get the same problem. The walkthru that starts on page 14 ends with number 12 saying 12. Add Vegetation as Necessary - Add whatever vegetation you require to make the map look as you wish.

Okay so where the heck is the vegetation stuff under the vegetation button?! Is there a file I'm suppose to load from somewhere? If so, what?

In the vegetation section you need to click on the white file icon with a plus on it, this adds a new vegetation type to the file. After this you need to click on it in the menu below and make sure that the dot next to it is red. Then you can choose your brush radius, and click on the "Paint Objects" button directly below the radius slider. Now you can just paint them on your terrain wherever you want. I've had some glitchy stuff happen with the graphics when I do this sometimes which usually is fixed by restarting the app. Hope this helps
