Man, the demo crashes to the desktop once it is done loading.
    256mb ram
    64mb intel extreme graphics

i think it is the graphics card, but I can run battlefield vietnam fine and that uses direct x 9. So I am confused. Any1 got and ideas

i have the same problem 256 MB RAM, GF4MX440, 64DDR. I know that the game does not support MX version, but i uninstalled the nvidia forceware drivers and installed detonator 45.23... IT WORKED, the only problem seems to be with the thermal vision (everything is black), everything else works great (1024*768*32, HIGH)... I hope this information helps !!!

Kev, it looks like your Intel Extreme card isn't in the "Supported Chipsets" list in the FAQ. So that's probably why the demo isn't working.

I have the same problem but I dought it if it's because of my equipement.

    AMD Athlon +2000
    1GB memory
    50GB free HD
    GForce 4 MX card
    Win XP Pro
    Sound Blaster card
    DirextX 9.0b

I had no problems at all playing the standard Splinter Cell demo. The Pandora one just quits after the Loading page. I set it up like all my other games : High Details at 1024 X 768

    The SpinterCell2.log says :

Here's a tip, buy the XBox version...I heard it's nearly impossible to crash to the desktop, but that might just be a ruMor..

So soon we forget that PC gaming is the best...I'd definitely love to wait over a year for the game, only to find out I won't be playing it for a little while longer..That must suck..
    ruM's OUT...

Read the system requirements. ONLY the graphics chips written under "supported graphics chipsets" can work 100% properly with the game.

    These are:

NVidia GeForce3, GeForce4 TI (NOT MX), all GeForceFX
    ATI Radeon 8500, 9200, 9500, 9600, 9700, 9800

Graphics chipsets which are NOT supported include:

NVIDIA GeForce4 MX & GO, all GeForce2 cards, GeForce 256 cards.
ATI Radeon 7000 series, original Radeon.
    INTEL Extreme/Extreme 2 onboard video
    MATROX Parhelia

DO NOT BUY THE GAME IF YOU HAVE ONE OF THESE CHIPSETS - IT WILL *NEVER* WORK PROPERLY. These unsupported chipsets don't have pixel / vertex shading in hardware. You need a new video card to run upcoming games.
