Thread: Saitek X45 Profiler bug | Forums

  1. #1
I was wondering if anyone else found this problem with the X45 profiler. I want to have my Aux. 1 button to work differently in the 3 Modes.

When I set Aux 0, no problems. But when I set Aux 1 or Aux 2, the same commands are automatically copied to the other Modes.

My goal is to have my Aux switch in Mode 1 switch my internal views, and my Aux switch in Mode 2 switch my external views.

I am going to report the bug to Saitek. I have downloaded the latest software from their site.

Hi, I dont think you can use the aux switch that way.I believe it acts as a continuous key press.
The m1, m2, m3 button below the aux would probably work for that if your not already using it for somthing else. Or maybee the the pinky switch to switch modes.
Im sure that others here can tell you for sure what you need to do. Hope you get it squared away.

It is not a big deal. I think the X45 is excellent and I can't imagine flying without it.

I also though that maybe the AUX. 1 switch was not designed that way. But then it seems very odd using the Profiler that the button can have different values for Aux 0, but not for Aux 1 and Aux 2.

I figure it is worth a shot to notify Saitek and see what they say.

Try using the advanced command rather than a keypress. The advanced command only 'presses' the key once and it works in different modes as well.
