Hello all
our website has been down for a few weeks,it is now up and running in a skeleton form,in a short while it will be back to its former glory and if i may add even better than before!

in the meantime if you fancy flying as part of a WW2 fighter squadron (No1 or No601)then drop us a mail using the link to recruitment at the bottom of the main index page.

we fly as a squadron tuesdays and fridays for no ops missions and fly one career missions a week on sundays

we treat the weekday flying as "casual"anyone can bring along a coop with whatever aircraft they want,in whatever role they enjoy,we also have a dogfight server up ,usually between 20:00 and 21:00hrs gmt as a way of congregating!

the sunday mission is historically based on actual missions and war diaries from a No1 pilot,
we are currently flying the battle of France and soon will be covering the retreat from Dunkirk and ultimately the BoB

we have a four week induction with a short test at the end based on our handbook which is provided free of charge for all tangmere pilots!

If you really want to fly Allied (can't think why) then this bunch of fools are a good bet.

Well I'll tell you what Winter old chap...you turn up in HL with some of your lads, any Tuesday or Friday evening from 21:00 hours [GMT] onwards, and we'll show you why

And thanks for the recommendation, you lot aren't at all bad either

Yep as Ginger said Winter old boy - if i was gonna fly Axis, JZG23 would really be the choice

Oh by the way - take Ginger up on his challenge it would be fun, we could fly a real Battle of Britain scenario.

My only online kills (apart from other TP pilots) have been JZG members.

well a week later and we have two new recruits, already into their induction period!
our recruiting will close for a while once we have filled up No1 and No601 and it wont open again untill we are ready to form No145 squadron so dont miss out and have to wait to join the TP,we currently have 20 operational pilots with two in OTU and only 24 available slots with 12 in each squadron,so if youve been considering it but havent decided then dont delay,as it will be a few months before No145 will be forming,
