Repeating gun sounds | Forums

Hi,
I've had the game for 2 days now and really love it.
The only problem I've had so far is the gun sounds. (at least that's the only sound I've noticed this issue with)
When I kill a guy as he's firing his Automatic Machine gun type weapon, he dies, but the sound of the gunfire keeps repeating until I get far enough away from it.
I am using SB Audigy 2 ZS with all latest drivers. Also using 5.1 surround and hardware+EAX turned on.

Now it would be really lame if the only fix for this was to turn down the sound quality, so I'm hoping someone has an answer.

Other than this little issue,(which becomes quickly annoying) I love this game!

I get this problem sometimes too. Its only happened so far with the m4 for me

I get that too. I've only seen it indoors, if that tells the devs something. I have Audigy 1.

Hey, I think that turning "Occlusion", it helps. I did that and haven't had the repeating gunsounds or any other sound problems really.
