This thread reminds me of countless other threads. From what I've heard the demo will be coming out in a couple of weeks.

The German based website PC Games Online is reporting that a single-player demo of Far Cry, the highly anticipated action game from Crytek, will be released in October. The article also mentions a late September date as a possibility, although a long shot at best. Ubi Soft, the publisher, expects to have the game on store shelves by the end of November this year so there isn't too much room for error date wise about the demo's release.
