Hi guys

This is really sad, after all the work done by Viper and other moderators, ubi finally agrees to create this forum, and they instantly get a dozen post.

For months the movie making community has become the best marketing department that ubi could ever imagine or even hire (yes the promotional movie are free for them and in the meantime we have to pay for add-ons )

Come on guys there's already a great forum for this subject, down discuss this subject here, just go to Vipers site

http://www.blacksheepwebdesign.net/V...nema/index.php

Anyway if your commitment to the compagny is greater than your gratitude to other people

Good flight to you !

Hello Jagaetev,

As far as I know, Viper did also want originally to have the movie forum at Ubisoft site. I personally like his site better but I think Viper's goal was to have it on Ubi, I might be mistaken but I think that was his plan to begin with.

S! All

Viper's forum looks very helpful and he deserves thanks for standing in the gap but I think a lot of us were not aware of it until this new forum started up.

If Viper does shut down his Virtual War Cinema, let's hope that he and his movie mogul buddies are still willing to share their expertise on this forum or another.

Ntesla,

My original thought was to have the VWC Linked on the Ubi Forums. After repeated attempts to get it here and messaging Moderators on here the VWC has been Ignored by the Moderators. I am a bit annoyed that now they decide to do this after I and the other movie making public had something already set up.

So be it, I am not whining about it...Just annoyed a bit. Anyways if VWC is to continue then I would like feedback from those who want it to stay or to go. The Choice is yours folks.

S! Viper

I definitely vote to keep Virtual War Cinema going...it is better organized, with sub-forums for tutorials, technical discussions, etc...and this new UBI movie forum has to prove itself to be serious and not burdened with kibitzers, rude types, or whiners of all sorts...

Pappy!

There's no reason why both forums can't co-exist.

We all strive for a prosperious and alive community with many good advice for movie making in a friendly manner.
Right?
So what different does the URL make?

Your work on VWC is very much appreciated, I'm sure. Look at all em supporting you.
But again, yours, mine and every movie makers goal must be a good, thriving community.
The more forums for us movie makers the better.
A new movie maker forum ain't yours nor the peeps at VWC's lost - it's a win for all movie makers.
The more the merrier.

In the light of this I do not understand your fear.

And please do not confuse the mods with UBI. We have no power to open or close forums.
And I have never recieved a PM from u related to anything about a movie making forum.

The addition of this forum will no doubt be beneficial for all movie-makers, but let's not assume this will cause the demise of the Virtual War Cinema. One of the main things this ubi board has going for it is the "draw" that it will likely cause, but let's not quickly rush to judgment here in believing this will make this the "better" board.
