    To Nikkr,

There you go buddy but when you have done it this way make sure you redo the mission and go up the guts to the village.

    Mission 8 GR

    1- SECURE THE VILLAGE
    2- DESTROY EAST ARTILLERY
    3- DESTROY NORTH ARTILLERY
    X- PROTECT FRIENDLY TANK

    ALPHA SQUAD JACOBS/ TUNNY M136
BRAVO SQUAD STANDARD DEMO SOLDIERS M136
    CHARLIE SQUAD RIFLEMAN/ SNIPER

When you first hit the insertion zone hit numbers 6-9 on the key board and run alpha squad to the north and face east in the ruin building to the right side.

Switch to bravo and run to the middle of the ruin to the doorway to the north and stand just left of the doorway.

Switch to Charlie and run to the ruin and stand behind alpha squad to the rear of the ruin but on the right side.

Now switch back to alpha and you shoot anything from the east and south east. The rest of the squad should be able to handle the tangos from the north. setting this up u have to be quick and don't slouch.

After the crap fight doing this you should have no dead or wounded so take a breath and relax there for a minute.

Now with alpha squad set your ROE hitting 6-7 to recon and move out to the north and move left behind the hill. Keep left and cross the road to the north as far to the left as possible. Then move to the north east hugging the cliff to your left. Make your way towards the north artillery but do not take it out. As you approach the cliff where the artillery is you will be facing north east and below the hill. You will need to deal with the patrol moving to the south and then the patrol that comes from the top of the hill where the artillery is.

This should be real easy even on elite so from here when the firing dies down move to the rock on the lower ground to the south east just in front of you and keep to the left of it. At this point you should see a patrol hanging around the enemy tank to the south so take them out. DO NOT TAKE OUT THE TANK because if you do that triggers your tank to start rolling forward towards the village.

Remember the other team members are still shacked up in the ruin so leave them there. Ok now once you take out the patrol near the tank you will have to deal with more patrols coming from the north artillery above you so just pull back and waste them.

Once you have done that head east then turn north east and head up the hill with the artillery to your left and keep moving north east. DONT DESTROY THE ARTILLERY. Ok now as you move to the north east the cliff edge is to your right and you are up high. Now turn east and you will see a patrol to the east so now your looking down on them so waste the tangos and move east towards them.

Keep moving due east to the top of the map and turn to the south east and cross the road and move to the base of the cliff to the south east. when you reach the cliff turn and move to the south west with the cliff on the left. As you move you will be able to go up a rise to the left that over looks the village to the west and the east artillery is to your left to the south.

DONT TAKE OUT THE EAST ARTILLERY. There will be guys all around you so take out the two tangos due south near the small rock and then the tango to the left as you face south east to the left of the rock. Now the tango to the right of the rock to the east as you face. Then quickly face the south west and the patrol to the right of the cliff edge down on the lower side waste.

As you look west in the distance to the right of the telegraph pole there is a tango standing so waste him then retrace you steps back to the north artillery. Once again DON'T DESTROY IT.

As you are standing buy the north artillery facing the south/south west and on the left side of the artillery you will see the tango tank so switch to tunny as he is with you. Move down the hill to the bottom and take the tank out now having wasted the tank that triggers you tank to come forward.

Switch back to Jacobs and head for the ruin building to the south east and take out the tango inside it and move around to the right of it and move inside. As you move inside the broken wall and face to the south east looking across the road there is a tango with a m136 so waste him and the other 2 tangos near him. Be Quick and don't miss then waste the tango just to your left coming from the north east right where you are.

There may be some tangos in the church to south west but most of them are killed because the came over and got wasted when you first come across the north artillery.

At this point your tank and the troops escorting it are rolling along the road and moving into the village. By now you should have a pop up window saying village objective completed.

Run due south and cross the road with the church to your right and there will be a patrol to the south east. At this point you will be standing at the wall of the church in the north east corner and all tangos are dead. the game should end and you win or if it doesn't waste the artillery now.

The numbers are the keyboard shortcuts for altering the Rules of Engagement of your soldiers, rather than having to do it on the command map.

4 - Sets all fireteams to Hold
5 - Sets all fireteams to Advance
6 - Sets all fireteams to Advance at all costs
7 - Sets all fireteams to Recon
8 - Sets all fireteams to Assault
9 - Sets all fireteams to Suppress

Also, in case you didn't already know:

1 - Selects control over the leader of Alpha
2 - Selects control over the leader of Bravo
3 - Selects control over the leader of Charlie
