I preordered URU: Ages Beyond Myst! It came in the mail yesterday, and my mom is making me wait until Xmas to even open the box. She did however let me have the 10th anniversary DVD collection of Myst, Riven, and Exile.

Dang! Maybe I can talk her into letting me have it?

A question: how does this online thing work anyway? I'm confused, and maybe when I play through the singleplayer and then try to get online, I'll understand? But, you have to be on a waiting list? And what's the fee? I'll have to quit Ultima Online to play URU LIVE. But I think it'll be worth it.

(ps - you guys might have seen me on the Myst III and older URU forum as "herbal" during the summer? im glad to be back)

I'd ask mom if she'd be so kind as to open the box for me and get out the CD Key so I can sign up for Prologue -- that way when Christmas comes around I'll already be in or be on a shorter waiting list for getting into Prologue.

Then again, this is why I don't live with my Mum...


Basically there's no necessary connection but Prime is the start of the story and Live is more stories more plots mix and match with more of the realm to explore.

Prime is fun, Live rocks -- but it's in Prologue and we'll get more soon enough

LMAO!!! Good call. You should sign up for the prologue now. Because at the rate it's going, you won't be able to get online before then anyhow.
