hello, i have problem, that i cannot run this game.

on my both computers with different setting installed game does not start. only showed for a while the starting screen (picture with that wise men) and than it falls down and windows want to send report to their server, because of corruption in chessmaster.exe

what shall i do?

both systems are running windows XP

...and i have tried updates, changing resolution, nothing helped.

I hope so, i have ATI Radeon 9500 and on 2nd computer ATI Radeon 9000

Hi I have solution for you, as I read in one review of chessmaster 9000 this is well-know problem (but I dont see it in FAQ), you have to change your language settings (small hemisphere in settings) to english - I try English US and everything works fine :-).

This really strange and I dont know why it isnt in FAQ, but it works.
