Punkbuster is not properly installed on AC4
Hello. My multiplayer was working exalantly. But something changed recently. It starts to write that "PunkBuster installed incorectly".
After that, I downloaded punk booster from this site http://www.evenbalance.com/ .
But it's a stupid app, because It can't even understand that I use x64 system and to find "Program Files (x86)".
After all, It ended up by this https://www.dropbox.com/s/7t712m59kg...%20%281%29.png
And this studpid app can't even save a log.
I think something wrong with 1.03 this update.
What should I do to fix multiplayer

I seem I found the problem but I can't fix it.
I launched pbsvc and it found one problem, namely that it can't find PnkBstrB
"ERROR: PnkBstrB was unpacked, but could not be founf on the file system"
"Can't open file C:\Users\??????????\AppData\Roaming\PnkBstrB.exe."
I tried to take this file from here C:\Users\Александр\AppData\Local\PunkBuster\AC4\pb and put PnkBstrB here
C:\Users\Адександр\AppData\Roaming\ Unfortunately, nothing changed.
Where I should get this file from or how to restore PnkBstrB.exe.
Ok. Today, I did many tests I did cleaning of windows registers, deleted punkbuster files from Windows folders, removed the service PnkBstr by cmd.
I did clean install(as recommended technical support of Ubisoft), and the problem didn't disappear. So I come to a conclusion that PunkBuster is incompatible to Windows 8.1 x64 and its last updates.

Problem is solved as I've updated Windows.
Does anyone even know what punkbuster is even for or what it does?
It's a computer program that is designed to detect software used for cheating. It does this by scanning the memory contents of the local machine and if it detects that your computer is using any cheat program, you'll be banned from connecting to protected servers.

It's because the files of PB are somehow removed/reset after the update.
Note that this happens for 'every' game that uses Punkbuster Anti-cheat system.
The game will either kick you out of the session or just say that Punkbuster is invalid.
(I'll just drop this here, if any other user gets the issue)
Just head to the Punkbuster setup page (http://www.punkbuster.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php)
Download the Windows executable and run it.
Click on "Add a Game" and choose Assassin's Creed: Black Flag
And as game path use the location of where you installed AC4.
X:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag\
X:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag\
(X as in the letter of the hard disk)
Hit add game and the program should be updating the games' files.
When it's done with updating, you can also try to fix other games, same method, other paths of course.

You do realize that everyone having these issues has screwed with or moved the installation directory.
1. Uplay is required to be in the C drive otherwise it will give you all sorts of problems being able to download/install things.
2. People combining Steam and Uplay will almost always = problems because they aren't related and people are trying o activate Uplay things only on an Steam account.
