BT Infinity - Uplay Connection Issues

As Ubisoft don't seem to bothered to fix this problem, maybe we should try and chase it down ourselves.

The problem seems to be caused by an inability to connect to Ubisoft servers. I can't connect to http://www.ubi.com/UK/ or any other Ubisoft website apart from this one - what is different about this forum website to your others Ubisoft?

This is not limited to my PC, no devices on my connection can access Ubi sites. It could be caused by our provider. I am a BT Infinity customer. How about you guys?

If we are all using BT routers maybe we need to open ports for some reason. Any ideas?

BT Infinity here as well. I don't think it's port related, as we can't get to the websites. I recently had to switch away from BT's DNS servers due to an issue I had with something else; wonder if maybe my DNS settings have reset back to BTs - will check tonight.

    I am UK PC BTInfinity.
And still nothing showing on Uplay as to the games I have bought.

16th hop on the traceroute to ubi.com still showing destination not reachable. The traffic gets to the US (i'm assuming the .com hops are physically located in the US). but 38.104.155.170 is the blocker

Somethings changed at their end I would guess.

My mate on Virgin just managed to get to www.ubi.com/UK/ fine......

Oh, I have started a thread on the BTInfiity boards http://community.bt.com/t5/BT-Infini...m/td-p/1072242 here. Let's hope there's some helpful input...

Tried from my phone on Orange 3G UK, connects to ubi.com very, very slowly (about 1 minute for the site to load).
Assassins Creed Companion app can login to Uplay but fails to locate my PS3 (as it can't connect to Uplay).
I've tried various DNS servers (ISP's, Google DNS, Open DNS) but if there's a routing issue it's not going to resolve it.

I'm trying to raise this with support.ubi.com, but that fails to load as well on data submission.

Managed to finally get one submitted.

BT infinity here too. So it looks like BT routing issue. I'm able to access the site fine here at work where there is no BT in use. However, I'm not installing uplay on my pc at work to test that

Nothing so far either via BT or Ubisoft.

A breakthrough, I spoke to a BT representative - they can't access www.ubi.com either through their means of testing.

They are going to give me a ring back in the next hour after investigating further.
