    Exclamation Patch #3 (Xbox 360, PS3, PC) ... (Wii U coming soon)

    Hey guys...

    We've just released the third patch (Xbox 360 + PS3 should be available already, PC is coming later today).
    Here are the notes:

    Spies vs. Mercs matchmaking across ALL PLATFORMS:
    Removed Training Grounds playlist
    Removed Hardcore 2v2 playlist
    All playlists now available from level 1
    Playlists now try to pool players with similar skill-levels
    Groups in a party have a bonus to their skill-level

    *Increased all ADV explosion damage (sticky camera, frag grenades, drone explosion, proxy mine) so it kills mercs with one armor part equipped.


    Xbox 360

    ADV Improvements done with this patch

    Money and experience are now automatically saved when the game ends due to host migration
    The host’s team is no longer guaranteed to play as Mercs first. The team will be randomly chosen to start as either Spies or Mercs.
    Removed Exit Match option during mid-match menus and halftime report.
    Made maps-specific changes to prevent spawn-killing in general and spawn-killing by drones specifically.

    Issues addressed in the patch

    Fixing issue where the client of a map will fall through the map on a specific condition
    Fix a few remaining random crashes
    Fix a few remaining tracking issues (invisible for the user)
    Further improvements on the reliability of the save system to avoid some remaining rare cases of save game corruption.
    Fix an issue where the spy doesn’t have a kill prompt when the Merc is crouch against this desk.
    Fix a walkthrough break in COOP/Abandoned City mission where the player would not be able to move further in the mission even though they cleared the area.
    Fix an issue that prevented the user from continuing the game after Kobin’s map if the player didn’t have enough money to upgrade Paladin.
    Fix an issue that made the Nouri mission fail if the player is using the tri-rotor to stun NPCs.
    Fix an issue causing the "Rename Loadout" menu to be displayed for the user instead of the "Record Sound" menu if the user follows some certain steps.
    Fix an issue that caused a forced termination when quitting game/ejecting disc during Mission Failed screen
    Fix an abuse that allowed spy to shoot with a two-handed weapon while being in shimmy.
    Fix an issue that could cause the reinforcement not to make it into the vault when downloading the USB key.
    Fix an issue that caused several buttons to lose functionality and caused the leaderboards to get corrupted after browsing through the ShadowNet tabs in a specific order
    Fix an issue that could cause the character to spawn with no weapon and without being able to shoot in certain conditions.
    Improve Kinect voice commands in localisations.
    Fix an issue that caused Merc characters to stay up after being killed by H2H during transition between sprint and idle/walk animation.
    Fix Kinect voice feature remaining on after being switched off in the menu
    ADV - Fixed bug that caused Sticky Cam detonation to deal far too much damage. The Sticky Cam damage is now fairly balanced compared to the other
    gadgets.
    ADV - Fixed bug where enemies were not properly hidden from Motion Tracker while crouched
    ADV - Fixed bug where Mercs would sometimes reload automatically for no reason
    ADV - Fixed one spot in Lebanese Hospital map where spies were unable to perform a CQC kill from cover
    ADV - Fixed one spot in Mine map where Mercs could get stuck after performing a CQC kill
    ADV - Fixed bug where hack reset timer was sometimes not shown in the kill cam
    ADV - Fix an issue that could cause the user to remain in a black screen while accessing AAR from lobby.
    ADV - Preventing an abuse in Virus Vault where the spy can access a specific zipline from a cover.
    ADV – Fix an issue that caused a Merc to be able to spawn kill the spies in the base camps with drone.
    ADV - Fix an issue preventing the player to take cover on the wooden board at the entrance of the Garage on the Cartel Map.

    PS3

    Fix an issue where the spy doesn’t have a kill prompt when the Merc is crouch against this desk.
    Fix a walkthrough break in COOP/Abandoned City mission where the player would not be able to move further in the mission even though they cleared the area.
    Fix an issue that prevented the user from continuing the game after Kobin’s map if the player didn’t have enough money to upgrade Paladin.
    Fix an issue that caused mines to not constantly work when NPC's walk on top of them or near them.
    Fix an issue that made the Nouri mission fail if the player is using the tri-rotor to stun NPCs.

    Support for 3+ GPUs
    Fix for flicking lights on certain multiple GPU setups

    GAMEPLAY

    Fix bug with mines not always working with NPCs
    Fix issue with assault mastery on ghost maps
    Fix freezes in certain levels
    Fix invisible collision area in certain co-op level
    Fix bug where players can get stuck at the end of a certain co-op level

    Fix issue where final cutscene may not be correctly visible

    UI

    Fix black screen when accessing after action report from lobby at certain times
    Show hack reset camera in killcam of players
    Fix mouse scroll usage on missions settings menu
    Fix some instance of incorrect button prompts
    Fix for disappearing mouse cursor on changing language settings
    Fix issue with cell feed menus
    Fix issue where player can get stuck in video settings menu
    Fix issue where restart story menu can't be accessed
    Fix problem with selecting challenges and scrolling through list

    AUDIO

    Fix audio volume in videos

    ONLINE

    Improved spawn algorithm
    Extended drone exclusion radius
    Fix issue with drones not getting properly destroyed
    Prevent drones getting into spy spawning volume
    Anti-RFD helmet no longer blocks torso abilities
    Stun duration balancing
    Ensure profile and earned money is saved if host quits
    Spy loadout gadget quantity balancing
    Team assignment balancing
    Modified motion tracking
    Fix merc invulnerability exploit in certain spot
    Fix issue with sticky cam damage
    Ensure blocked players can't join games

    ENGINE

    Addition of optional automatic HTTP proxy detection
    Use minimal system validation on launch
    Fix Processor affinity
    Fix alt-tab crash in loading screen

    Hmm interesting, not amazing but interesting.
    Happy about exp (i'm already lv 56 but whatever good for eveyine), stun duration, and improved spawning.
    Too bad there's no fixes on match making, host migrations and the lobby chat is still absent.
    Ubisoft you never cease to amaze me. You must be ashamed for your actions.

    According to Twitter, Improved Matchmaking falls under "Team Assignment Balancing". Which is only mentioned in the PC Patch notes. Zack is inquiring right now about the other consoles.

    Hi Zack, no mention of matchmaking changes to Xbox 360 and no mention of a fix for the RDF vision not picking up the ghillie suit.

    Were these implemented in this patch?

    Could you be more specific on the Wii U patch release please? Here's hoping the Wii U version gets treated like it should and fixed like it should, it has other problems not listed here, and hopefully by "soon" that means no later than tomorrow.

    I wouldn't expect it tomorrow. From my understanding, Nintendo really drag their feet when it comes to getting patches out the door. The patch was most likely submitted to Sony/Microsoft a week or so ago and only got the OK for today. Nintendo usually has another 7+ days after that.
