Hi everyone! I'm kinda stuck in PoP The Sands Of Time, the PC version. I'm at 62% (just climbed out of the well and defeated the monsters there) and now I must go into a room with a rope in the middle, spikes underneath and two buttons (a yellow one and a white one) on the walls. I figured I had to swing the rope, jump off against the button and, at once, jump back from the wall to the rope. Is this correct? Because I don't manage to do so. The rope is back in the middle and I fall to my death. Can anyone help me please? I tried all positions on the rope, high and low, but nothing works; the rope has swung back to the middle by the time I've jumped back. Anyone?

push the white button first, then jump off the wall again, get on the rope, move bit and then swing again, jump, hit the yellow button, jump off again and be on the rope again, now as fast as possible get on the plotform lowered by the white button and run through the gate.

If you mean you just can't get back on the rope, then you're doing sumthing wrong, make sure you pressed the button when you jump off.

Hey man, I'm having the same problem. I've made the jump back off the white but I only make it like if I'm lucky 10% of the time I try. By the time I succeed I'm out of luck on the red one with the amount of sand I have left for rewinds. It's driving me crazy.

But it's definately do-able you've just got to time it right I guess.

On the PC version:

Climb up the rope three times to give some slack to the rope so that it whips.
Swing the rope a few times to build momentum.
As you are falling back away from the switch, <space> jump to the wall switch and then
<space><D> to jump back to the rope.
(You jump back off the wall "best" near the bottom of the wall switch.)

Rotate around so that you face the yellow wall switch.
Climb up the rope three times. You again need a little slack in the rope.
Swing the rope. As you fall away from the wall switch, jump to the wall switch, then quickly
<space><A> to jump back to the rope.

Then quickly jump off the rope to the drawbridge and out of that horrid room!

When you finish the game, you will never forget that room.
