Just spotted a pic of a vertical tornado in another thread, and it had this wonderful brackish brown terrain below.

But to the point, why are so many sims loaded with this constant green terrain (and occasional snow)? Lomac, IL2, F4 - where are the browns? They look great!

Maybe there is some technical colour fidelity issue that makes 3d browns look kinda ****, but hey - enlighten me.
