I know that this topic might have been in this board a lot. Unfortunately i am new in this board and my knowledge of this fine product is basically none.
So my question is, what is the issue with A/G radar? i have read that there is not such radar mode in lo-mac.
Well if is there not a/g radar mode, how will the a-10 seek and find the targets?
I hope somebody can explain it to me
meanwhile

The A10 doesn't have radar anyway. A10 pilots use FAC's and the Mk 1 eyeballs, plus their FLIR to find targets, Nor does the frogfoot have radar either

If you are talking in game, I don't know, if you talking in real life I may be able to help.

here you go....
First we must break your question into two categories, within visual and beyond visual ranges.
Within visual ranges the A-10 uses the old mark-1 eyeball, he (she) can also be guided in by a ground / air FAC using ground references like mountains, tree lines, or any other visual items to get the pilots eyes on the target. In some of LOMACs shots screenies I have see tanks with dust/dirt trail which are a good way for an A-10 to find armor/troop columns. Other aircraft (another a-10) or ground FACs can mark target with 'willy pete's" or smoke granades.
Beyond visual ranges it get a little more tricky! If it's a stationary target and you know it's lat/long form satellites or other sources you can load it into the INS system as a waypoint. This is much like you would do in other sims, where you follow waypoints the the target area, with the difference you can't used the radar to fine-tune your course or find your intended target before reaching the area. You must fly to the target using the INS and then find the proper target visually to complete the attack.
If it's a moving target such as a tank column or friendly troop in contact with "the enemy" you can (again) be vectored in by the ground forces engaged in the battle, or given headings and courses by aircraft such as JSTAR, Predators, or other aircraft in the area. Ground/air FAC can also "lase" a target, and if you are in range of the Pave Penny pod, it will give you a TDB and "tadpole" to guide you to the target and tell you this is the target they want you to destroy.
Also, as stated above, you can use the Maverick missile as a FLIRT (IR mav) or the TV guided brand as a visual means
of finding targets. The newer Mavs have a zoom which is helpful in finding and IDing targets to attack from a longer
distance. One more note on the mavs, and this is not really a way to find a target but to attack it is, slew the Maverick to the target, hit the nose wheel steering switch which will tell the A-10 that's the target you want to attack, and it will transfer that information to the LASTE computer for CCIP delivery.
This is by no means a complete list of ways to find and attack targets in the Hog but I think it will give you a good idea of some of the ways it can be done. The A-10 has always been called a pilots aircraft because it doesn't have all the electronics to find and attack targets, it's mostly up to you to find them and then use what you do have to your best advantage....welcome to the world of the A-10 Thunderbolt II "Warthog"!

thanks dice-man.
I saw a a-10 show on the discovery wing channel, it was awsome.
Basically that clears my doubts. so there is no a/g radar in this game.
I really hope that the develop team, which has create a really nice looking sim, still supporting the community like maddox, creatng patches where they add more planes and let the community in helping them in modeling more planes. Who knows probably in a future patch/add on, we will see some aircraft with a/g radar

Nah...finding target with Su 25 gonna be much more harder....no Mavs here I guess
-
...and much harder to destroy them with no mavs or Avenger!

The real su-33 doen't have a/g radar either. it is basically a baseline su-27 with a stronger undercarrage and folding wings.
