Thread: Some wierd new xbox live glitches(new to me) | Forums

    So over the past couple of days me and my friend have been running into some rather nice new craptacular tactics.

    First of all disconnects! People are not just leaving anymore, they are disconnecting and forcing everyone to be considered a 'quitter' i.e. at the very least me and my friend lose points. This is not just a random connection thing... this is quite often now right before we are about to win. So whats the deal? They pulling the plug, and if so do they lose points as well? My major concern is... the new patch. With the new idea of major point loss for droppers... is this **** going to be addressed? If not we are in for some serious serious fun where people purposely disconnect just to make other players lose major rank.

    My second noticed favorite glitch seems to be intentional lagging on spies part! Now I know I can't prove this... but in 2 games out of 5 that we played in the course of an hour, we ran into two very odd lagging games. In both all commands were delayed by a couple of seconds... but spies ability to neck break was not hampered probably due to an overly favorable system designed to give the benefit of the doubt to the spies. Anyways the spies acted like nothing was wrong... and in particular at the end of the second game(These two games were with totally different people btw in case you hadn't noticed) we heard the spies on spy trap saying, "Don't worry we'll just do the same thing next game" .... So what is going on here? I guess it could be coincidence but I havn't experienced lag like this in the game ever, and it was quite consistent between the two games. Hell at one point I sniped a spy in vent 5 times only to find the lag registered no hits, and so him jump out of the vent to shoot at one of my mines, before finally putting a full clip into him.

    Oh and add on to that... seems to be a propensity of spies that are able to grab necks from virtually in front of you now... Basically they are so good that if your tazer misses, and soon as you go to begin your turn they have your neck. Hell I watched my friend get smacked with his back to the nd133 in lower water tank room, and then have his neck grabbed magically. I like the rank fixes but stuff like this needs to be addressed if I am going to keep playing....

    I have never seen any of this ecept whenever i just happen to get near a spy, the game lags... but its perfectly fine otherwise

    I have also seen a glitch where spys can get out of the Warehouse map

    hey im on pc and i experienced the same thing.the spy was directly in front of me and i got my neck broken some how. and if ur thinkin there is another spy in front of me the answer is no.

    just played a game where the lag was very bad too. the spy was able to move like crazy and i was trying to snipe one spy but the bullet came out a full ten seconds later. what is up with that?

    and theres been a few games where a spy grabbed while i was jumping and there was that sound(the errie dum dum) but i could still run off he some how caught up with me and when i died i only saw my hands

    Actually alot of these problems are said alot...but they do need to be fixed msot of this is host advantage

    heck I was once turned 180 degrees and got grabbed(yea I was TURNED 180 degrees)

    Personally I like a new stlye of gameplay with bugs than teh same type of multiplayer with no bugs.
