    IL2FB newbie here.
    Started a campaign in 1941 electing to be posted to II/JG2. Are there any generic skins which are historically accurate for the staffel for that time period?

    have you tried looking on www.il2skins.com
    select the plane you require then browse the skins available...there are thousands all free for you

    you can also probably type in II/JG2 or something of that nature in the keyword section of the filters...that might be the most accurate way...
