    A couple of quick things...

    Hey guys...

So as you can imagine, it's pretty busy over here.
I have been able to check in and read some of your posts (and PM's), though.

I wanted to a address a couple of things directly.

    1) Ghost points. In the walkthrough, you're shown how they're rewarded for non-lethal takedowns. What you didn't see was how they're awarded for avoiding contact entirely. That would happen if the video had continued a little longer. They kick in at certain checkpoints, and work as a multiplier. I can't remember the specific value, so we'll refer to it as X. The system then determines how many guys you AVOIDED (we'll call that Y), and then subtracts the number that you may have taken out (only if it applies; we'll call that Z).

So... while you have standard ghost points for LTL takedowns, there are ALSO the avoidance ghost points (which go to the same pool). That is:
    X multiplied by Y (minus Z multiplied by X)

I really hope that makes sense. I'm going on very little sleep.

    2) KO'd AI.
Yes, other enemies can wake up knocked out AI. They don't always do it; sometimes they go into a different state of alertness, sometimes they revive them. I don't know what factors lead to which scenario, or whether it's part of the systemic nature... but that's how it goes.

I've got to get back to some video editing before meeting the team for breakfast.

If you're looking something different from Splinter Cell videos, (last my project was called Tactical Espionage from Chaos Theory - advanced ghost style), visit my fansite channel at this address: http://www.youtube.com/user/jaruto7?feature=mhee

Our ideas should serve as an inspiration for Ubisoft Toronto with new and innovative features in the right direction for next SC games: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...e-in-Blacklist

Good to know, the algebra confuses me, but good stuff nonetheless.
I am a panther player at the deepest level of my Splinter Cell playstyle. Anything that gets the job done will go into me finishing the mission successfully, silently, and superbly: Mark & Execute, melee, gadgets, just straight up shooting a guy. If it'll work, I'm doing it. If your a guard tip-toeing down a dark corridor, you should be scared, because there is nothing standing between me and seeing to your removal.

Quick, Confrontational, and Closer Than Ever

If I were smarter, I'd just have said:

VALUE multiplied by NUMBER OF ENEMIES untouched (and unaware of your presence) minus the NUMBER OF NEUTRALIZED enemies.

A la Mark of the Ninja.
    Sounds good.

Pretty sure I heard the AI mention a guy was "only unconscious" in the demo... I assumed they woke him up.
Very interested to see the different AI behaviors, and abilities.

Awesome, I figured that's how the Ghost points would work. I assume that you get more money per unaware and avoided enemy than per every KO.

A couple of questions that you might not see/may not be able to answer:
    - What does Y do when you have the menu up...?

Also... video editing? I presume for a video of PAX and the things that went on there. Anyway, thanks for the update Zack!

Yeah, I was wondering what Y does in the menu. I just assumed it was to change vision modes.
