I have a problem installing the game, i get through disk 1 fine. At the end of disk 2 i get a error that says incorrect volume in drive insert disk 1. I insert disk 1 and click continue it then asks for disk 3. At the end of disk 3 i get the same error then it crashes. I've tried installing on 2 systems. On the other i dont get the error at the end of disk 2 but the exact same at the end of disk 3. What is going on?

Are you using a copy purchased in the Netherlands? It appears the entire batch that was shipped there has installation problems.
-
No, I bought mine here in the USA.

Try to install it from a different drive. Do you have a virtual drive? If you do, that could be causing it, so you'll want to get rid of it as well.
My system:
AMD XP 3000+ @ 2.23Ghz
1 gig of Corsair DDR PC2700 RAM @354Mhz
Radeon 9800 Pro video w/TV out core @434, mem @730
Windows XP SP 1
Microsoft Directx 9.0b
Antec TruePower TrueBlue True480 PSU
LiteOn DVD+/-RW drive
Plexwriter CD-RW
Maxtor Diamond 9 160GB SATA hdd
Westerndigital 40 gig harddrive
Westerndigital 100 gig hdd (external)
Asus A7V600 VIA KT600 mainboard
Creative 5.1 surround system
Thermaltake Aquarius II liquid cooling system

Just wait until it finishes to read disc 2 (even if it asks for disc 1, just wait). When it's done copying, give him cd 1 and press retry. it should now ask cd 3.
and do that again at the end of CD3.
It's an install bug that happens on some configs...

I returned the game and got anothe copy everything works fine now.

I have installation problems too, and yes, I bought my version in The Netherlands. At 3/4 of disk 2, I get the message that there is something wrong with D:\data3.cab (cyclic redundantion control)
Is there anything I can do?
Thanks! Judith

As stated in another thread: Copy the contents of CD 2 to your hard drive and install from there. Worked perfectly for me.
-
Well, not for me. And many people are with me.
There are several topics on this forum about the problem.
The only solution is: prey that Ubisoft is going to help us... And right now, it doesn't look like they are going to do so...
