Ok you guys can shoot me now...well wait at least until I ask the ridiculous question and then mow me down.

Anyway, My friend and I dug out our rogue spear cds tonight after several years of collecting dust(since the nato mod was 2.7). I would have put money on their being some sort of death match mode of multiplayer(you know with respawning).

So are we just crazy old farts who are having a prolonged senior moment, in which case we were remembering things that did not actually happen...Or are we being blind and not seeing the barn door in our faces?

While there is FFA or Survival and even Team Survival (AKA Deathmatch), there are no respawns in RS. Once you are shot and killed, you have to wait til the other(s) are killed too.

If you like Coop play, I still host an occasional server (if there are enough that join, we do play teams). My IP can be found in the forums at Aggression.
