i've done a search for it and couldn't find anything before you all attack me.

after landing the wingman sometimes goes into a covered hard stand and the doors close behind him. how do you know which one to go to yourself?

Can you actually have one of these open the doors and then taxi in?

No you can't, just the wingman can do it. All you can do is taxi to any of the open bunkers or parking areas around.
