How you I install new fonts..never did it before. Where do you install them. Case in point, I would like to install the fonts from "Skinners Heaven"...but do not know what is required.

Hi!
1. download and unzip those files to somewhere on your harddrive where you find them easily, e.g. C:\temp or something like that.
2. open Control panel (if you have win XP, skip #4 otherwise skip #3)
3. Win XP: choose "Appearance and themes" and from "Look also" -section choose "Fonts"
4. Others: double click "Fonts" -icon
5. from "File" -menu choose "Install new font"
6. select the folder where you unzipped the font files
7. select the fonts you want to install and click "OK"
If the font you are installing already exists, you'll get an error-message, but then just click OK.
I don't know are those "names" corerct, because I translated them from a Finnish Windows, but at least they are close.

I just installed A new M/B and I lost all my Fonts when I did A system install.
Do you know where I can get all the Military font?

Plus a few others at Skinners Heaven.
BTW: working on a major update (mostly to make maintaining it more easy) and then some new fonts will be added.

Okay ...
I'll try this once here, I've asked several people but all are lost. I have Windows ME and when I double click on Fonts and choose File ...
there IS NO
'Install new font'
Even my help files instruct me to use 'Install new font'
but it's just not there!
LOL
Anyone have a clue?

it's esier than all that dl the fonts, save them to your desk top.
on c drive open windows, fonts and the hilight the font from the desk top and then just drag and drop them into the window/fonts folder. and volia. new fonts intalled.

I tried that earlier and I did something wrong ...
but tonight I downloaded a shareware Font manager and while I was reading the manual and just screwing around with it ... voila! "Instal New Font" was in my File options!
...shrug...
thanx anyway and Gibbage does have some talent, huh?
