Thread: Unspecified server error, 100% of tries | Forums

  1. #1
I have had an official invication to visit the online website for some time now. I've probably tried to do so 70-80 times. The farthest I ever get is "Login Failure, unspecified server error." Many times, of course, I don't get that far. I've tried dozens of combinations of disabling my firewall, closing everything......natter, natter.

yeeeup, I was getting that trouble too from time to time. Especially last night. All without changing anything on my home network or systems.

This is more of a tech support thing so I'll copy the thread there.

Where is the tech support forum that you sent this thread to. Can you give me a link? I'm having the same problem trying to login in.

    jeanhohn,

The Ubisoft servers are very heavily loaded, which is what usually results in 'unspecified server error' or 'authentication failed'. But 70-80 tries is too many - you should have gotten on-line by this time.

You may have other problems. (n2itv - you too.) Please post your Dxdiag report so that we can see what your system looks like and maybe make recommendations:

    -- Click on Start
    -- Click on Run
-- Type dxdiag.exe in the box
    -- Click on OK

When the blue bar in the lower left corner of the Dxdiag box has finished crawling, click on the 'Save All Information' button.

The result should be a DxDiag.txt file on your Desktop. Copy ALL of the contents of this file to the Windows Clipboard and paste everything into a new post in this thread.
