Thread: The Uplay PC connection troubleshooting | Forums

  1. #51

    Uplay sucks!

You guys created a great game. Then you put it on the internet and completely ****ed it up. I have less issues with games I pirated! The user interface is utter ****. In coop mode you give us no options for what level or difficulty we want to play. Why the hell are there not separate servers for each difficulty, or at least give everyone the choice. I have beentrying to play coop for almost an hour now and keep getting the irritating host migration ********. I have yet to play one round

Hi I can logg in but just can´t use the online mode it just says that there is a problem with my Internet connection and I have confirmed that it is not a problem with any firewall. And why I can´t download from any link is beyond me

Hi big_a_the_hun - Can you please tell me what you have tried so far?

I got the same issue, it won't let me go online at all, even after accepting the terms of service blah blah blah to go online and still says I'm offline. I restarted my pc but still have the same issue, this is rather annoying when you are trying to register a game in the process.

I was given a key for Far Cry 3 recently, but I haven't been able to get uplay PC to start at all. The error message "A Ubisoft service is not available at the moment. You can try again later or switch to offline mode." is what I'm getting; since I haven't been able to get on since downloading the application on Friday, of course I can't go into offline mode. Have tried restarting and un/reinstalling to no avail.

    Edit: Resolved.

Im trying to log in to uplay but it says that there's something wrong with my internet connection, I've tried disabling the firewall on my router but nothing happens. It says that I can go in offline mode but I first need to log in to do that. And the link to download the uplay installer is broken.

Hi Civila_Bosse - This message usually means there is an interference between the network and the online servers. Please try establishing a direct connection to the modem and retry. This will help narrow down where the issue is coming from. In most cases, connecting directly to the modem will allow you to bypass the security features of the router.

If you continue to have issues, please create a ticket to support by clicking on the “Ask Question tab” on the top of the page: http://support.ubi.com/ . Once support has additional information about your local network they will be able to pinpoint the source of the problem.

Alternatively you may call them. You can find the Support Team in your region here: http://www.ubi.com/US/Support/InternationalSupport.aspx
