I installed the game from dvd,everything worked fine till the end of intro video, then there is a black screen and then the error-"AC3SP.exe has stopped working" is shown. I meet the system requirements,and i use lucid virtu(which never had any problem so far),already updated gpu drivers. The error shown is-

i have had the same problem, multiplayer works fine, single player don't work at all. HELP PLEASE i don't want to be out $50
I had the same problem, i installed with steam. Is there a dll missing?
I can play multiplayer just fine, but struggle with Singleplayer on my current rig. It keeps crashing :s
