Thumbs up Never had a worse experience buying a game.

    Create uplay account. Done.
Buy AC3 DDE. Alright so far so good.
Oh wait, suddenly a new DDE with season pass gets released according to forum members and ubi reps. Let's try and contact support, wait what i can't login? What? Error? Alright make a new account and ask support to take a look. They ask me to change password. Alright wait 12 days, not even a update regarding my account,
Whatever need to sort out the issue with the DDE...hmm can't find anything on the swedish store(DDE version is gone completly). Some forum members get the season pass with the DDE eitherway and some don't, not even ubi reps knows what's going on.

So i look around to see if it's possible to cancel the order, but sadly you can't according to the FAQ (digital versions). So i keep waiting for support to investigate if the DDE has a season pass or not. After 10 days they still don't have a clue what their product contains and the response given by support is to cancel (remember, you can't, already paid) and buy the new updated version on the store. Thing is, there still is no DDE on the swedish store. And the game is released in less than a week.

Thank you Ubisoft, i have never been this frustrated with a company before, how the hell can a company not even have a clue what they are selling a week before release? You push all the right buttons at the same time.

PS. Can i have myoriginal account back? Or atleast give a update on what's going on with my account. Really frustrating.

    Edit:

Guys, I'm, getting confirmation on what that FAQ means - however - since it says 'more details soon' - it may change.

re - the digital deluxe version [pc] - it does indeed come with 4 missions!

So you guys [game] + Ghost of War, Lost Mayan Ruins, A Dangerous Secret and THE BENEDICT ARNOLD MISSIONS.

    or

[game] + [season pass]+ Ghost of War, Lost Mayan Ruins, A Dangerous Secret and THE BENEDICT ARNOLD MISSIONS.

Depending on what your retailer has / you bought.

You keep talking about retailers, but we're talking about Ubishop here. The only difference is that some of us are in different regions and we're getting mixed information from Ubisoft. Ubisoft Sweden says it's best to cancel the existing pre-order and order the new one instead (even though their own policy states it's not possible to cancel digital editions) and Ubisoft Netherlands claims all Deluxe editions are identical and come with the Season Pass. I know you're trying to help, but it is Ubisoft who needs to sort things out and give all the facts to their own teams around the world. Those of us from ordered from Ubishop, can we expect all Deluxe editions to come with the Season Pass or not, regardless of our country of residence?
So why is it that the retailers matter? You are releasing a game and it's your own retailer where we get the game from.
Giving them a call doesnt work either because they do not accept calls from mobile phones.

    "Dear Assassin,

Thank you for pre-ordering Assassin's Creed® III Deluxe Edition on UBIShop!

Due to the recent inclusion of additional game content, we have increased the price of the Deluxe Edition to $79.99.

However, to thank you for your early pre-order of the game, we wanted to inform you that you will only be charged $64.99, and still be opt-in automatically to receive both original and newly added bonus content:

    - Assassin's Creed® III Season Pass, with exclusive early access to the first downloadable content pack to be released.
    - Four bonus single-player missions, adding over an hour of additional gameplay.
    - A collection of 25 tracks from the official Assassin's Creed® III Soundtrack (MP3 files).
    - George Washington's Notebook (PDF file).

There is nothing you need to do but prepare for hours of fun when the game releases on November 20.

If you have any questions regarding this email or your order, please contact http://support.ubi.com/.
I really didn't belive people when they said that PC players get treated poorly by Ubi. But hell, what is this? What's the point in buying anything from a company that has no clue what they sell? If buying a game is such a hassle maybe Yves should focus some more on the PC side of his company because this is ridiculous.
To get the game on release i either pay 100 euro for a version that costs 75 (still not up on the site) or i cancel the order and wait for the transaction to finnish (remember, you still can't cancel a digital order).

Can i get any help with this ? Release day is closing in and i just want to cancel this crap. Im done with it and i just want the **** game on release.
Questions: How long does it take for the money to transfer back, when will there be a DDE+season pass on the swedish shop and will i even get my money back seeing how its against the rules. And when the hell can i even get my original account back? Seriously.

Been in contact with your support, delete this thread. These issues won't be resolved through the forums.
And for those who are having the same issues regarding the DDE+Season Pass i was told that there is a meeting atm where they are trying to sort it out.

Those of you who ordered the Digital Deluxe Version a while ago from the Ubishop - when it did not have the Season pass, Soundtrack or the new Benedict Arnold DLC - may have noticed that the current version for sale does contain the extra content, however at a higher price..

Many of you found this unfair, so Ubisoft has put in place a means to correct this for you:

In order to recive the updated versions content - you MUST directly contact Ubishop support as soon as possible to make sure you get access to the content.

If you do not contact them - and make it clear you want to be upgraded to the current version - you will not get it - so PLEASE make sure you contact them.

Shop support are standing by to issue extra content codes to those of you who ordered the version with the the season pass etc - for NO extra cost.

I know it does mean you taking a few minutes of your time to contact them directly, however it will ensure you get the same content as everyone else!

I got the same run around a couple weeks ago, I guess they want us to buy it twice. Never had so many problems with a retailer to date as I have with uplay and their disorganized structure that in EVERY case leaves the player holding the stick. Been trying for 24 hours to get my copy of AC3 that I preordered. Should have just bought the game from steam when it came out. Would atleast have it in hand after so much anticipation put on by ubisoft, just to get the hurry up and wait treatment.

I am so frustrated at this point that I just can't describe it properly so I will leave it at that. They think that $50 is nothing to the average player and are treated accordingly with lackadaisical CS.

I sent them a question, where was my email with AC3 link, here's my confirmation. The reply was that I would get at 12-3PM (sent to me at 4PM), never checked my order, never asked. Just blew me off with a bunch of troubleshooting links for games that won't run.

Now I have to wait another 12+ hours for them to reply to this email so I will get the game 2 days late. Couldn't upgrade to the DDE a while ago when that came out, nothing. If it takes effort, seems they don't do it until you get irate.

This is the last order I make from uplay, the rest that HAVE to go through them with get purchased elsewhere. dozens of pre-orders and never 1 problems with delivery until Uplay enters the scene.
