Lots and lots of useless skills!! Anyway, I played as Might, maybe a good Magic player can tell you what skills to use...
The castle with 50 Sun crusaders plus some marksmen is in the top left of the map (north-west corner).

No idea what you refer to as "archy"?? Do you mean "Archery"? If so, that is a Might ranged unit boosting skill.

I am sorry, NiagaraMouse, but it seems you played the first 3 missions for Haven faction badly, and thus developed a bad/low level hero build.
And/or maybe you chose the wrong skills - what Level is your hero, what Skills does he have?

Level 25 Paladin Might/Tears
With Shantiri Moon Disc (summon Phoenix = 4)
Reputation Abilities = Fervor, Martyr and Devine Justice
Chosen Abilities:
-Defender III
-Destiny’s Chosen III
-Assailant II
-Reinforcements III
-Ambush
-Heroism, Mass
-Counterstrike III
-Toughness III
-Archery III
-Giant Slayer
-Cleave
Heroic Strike = Mark of the Heretic
Specialization = Griffin Master
Faction Ability = Guardian Angel IV

No Dynasty Traits or Weapons (do not play online)

Lord Kilburn is my Side-kick he is useless at level 15

Other Hero is a Level 18 Cleric

I have completed these campaigns without too much trouble (I thought)
- tutorials
- Stronghold I
- Sanctuary I
- Haven completed 1 to 3

I always start my battle with the Phoenix, then Heroism Mass then Reinforcements.

for might heroes I recommend pressed attack if becomes useless by the end but allows you to win easily without taking loses the first two weeks, for magic heroes chain lightning serves the same purpose

Arachne is a dynasty weapon that gives all your units life leech.

where do I get it? I am a mage and still don't have a weapon.

What good is creating a dinesty hero when you can not use him in your campaign? I have weapons for knights but none for mage. How do I get??

The walkthrough I am useing says I should be attacking the last city in Haven campaign #4 in 15 weeks. but I can not even get the 1/2 way there in 15 weeks. I need help.

It does not matter how slow you go - I attacked the last city (with the Boss) in Month 5 or 6, no problem.
Which walkthrough are you following, please can you provide a link?

Arachne is a fighter weapon and thus can only be used with might type heores (incl secondary).
