Thread: how to load a far cry map? | Forums

  1. #1
I asked this question before and got part of an answer. I know I unzip the map to my levels folder. After that I start game. At what point do I bring down the console and type in the map name? I've tried it two ways. Right at the start up I hit the ~key to bring down the console and I type: "\map TheFarm" then I hit the "enter" key. Nothing happens.

I load a far cry saved place and do the same process after that loads and still nothing happens.

    What am I doing wrong?

make sure the 'folder' your loading has the name

if the folder is named 1 then you should type:
    \map 1

    It should work...
Otherwise there is no map there...
