If you figure it out let me know.

But I've had it happen with RvS and AS. I lose my Teamspeak.

There are a ton of these posts going around. Some with fixes, some without. The fixes are hit and miss. The best thing I can tell you is to make sure your SB Live or whatever sound card you may be using and your video card are on a different IRQ. If you don't know how to do it I have detailed the process in a number of sound issue related posts. Just gonna have to look for em. lol

Here are Dienekes2 instructions for fixing the sound problem. Thanks dude. I'll give it a try.

If you are getting garbled, high pitched, or lag due to sound please verify your sound card and video card are on their own IRQ. To do this using Windows XP (other versions are similar, however, I have forgotten the steps for other OS):

Right click on "My Computer" -> Click on "Properties" -> Click on "Hardware" tab -> Click on "Device Manager" -> Click on "View" in the menu -> Click on "Resource by Connection" -> Expand the "Interrupt Request (IRQ)" list. In this list will be a list of your peripheral devices and their IRQ which is shown by the number next to their name. If the sound card and video card are not on their private IRQ you will need to assign them in the BIOS. I will not attempt to tell you how here as the BIOS is different depending on your m-board. Call your m-board manufacturer or get someone else to do it for you.

*Please Note: I am not responsible for any changes made to your BIOS. I will not accept responsibility if you make changes and your computer no longer functions. Before making any changes be sure of what they are and/or get help from someone who knows.*

Yes it's a bug in the new maps. I have come to suspect this. Yet it won't be covered in the upcoming patch. Let's hope Ubi pulls a fast one and fixes this, too.
