Below you will find the link to the release notes on our day 1 patch for Assassin’s Creed III.

There is one issue of note in Sequence Four (SQ04); while completing the final mission, there is a rare, but annoying bug where your screen would remain either all black or white. While the patch does fix this issue, there is a very simple workaround to remedy this. Upon replaying the mission, simply enter into the Display settings via the General Options Menu and adjust the brightness to no more than 5. You are free to readjust afterwards, but keep this setting for the duration of this particular mission.

Before moving on, as a total story junky, I feel that I should warn you that there may be some SPOILERS in the description of some of the fixes, but to each their own.
