Personally I would call that style of play "Bastard" or "Bastardo". As in:

    1: an illegitimate child

2: something that is spurious, irregular, inferior, or of questionable origin.
    Blacklist status: Not Buy.

Like a sliver of glass, a Splinter Cell is small, sharp, and nearly invisible.

Actually, this is even more of a accurate comparison to the action in Blacklist.

The way Splinter Cell was created and what it should aspire to be.

Could you tell me where is challenge in Infiltration Denaible Ops? The lasers? the killing enemies in cramped positions? The turrets? No kidding... there was a less challenge, compared to the Single player mission where Sam Fisher must infiltrate Third Echelon because if you shoot to the camera you raise alarm and mission is over and gate are closed, the same situation when you are detected by guards.
When you destroy camera in Infitration Coop mode, there is no real consequences.

If you're looking something special from Splinter Cell videos, (last my project was called Tactical Espionage from Chaos Theory - advanced ghost style), visit my fansite channel at this address: http://www.youtube.com/user/jaruto7?feature=mhee

Our ideas should serve as an inspiration for Ubisoft Torronto with new and innovative features in the right direction for Blacklist: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...e-in-Blacklist

We need a purist mode similar to what Hitman: Absolution have, but with our rules: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...40#post8582940

http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...list-Checklist Please support the checklist and hopefully Ubisoft will see the massive amounts of people who want to see certain, key features implemented.

Ubisoft... please add in a true variable speed system with an integrated sound system and if you have the time...other abilities, gadgets, and things from the first SC games such as split jump, etc.

Yes the lasers and the turrets, the additional cameras, the No Detection mandate. All those things make it harder.
The 3E infiltration in the SP that you are talking about is also a very good level for stealth, I like that one a lot, and that is one of the reasons I really wanted all the SP maps available for d-ops too...even if they wouldn't have been perfect for it.
    It's a good level.
i'm not saying Infiltration is necessarily harder than some of the campaign missions, just that it turned the D-ops mode up a notch.

IMO though, shooting the cameras instead of avoiding the cone of detection is like embracing the aggro route and using the heck out of M&E, THEN complaining about how easy that makes the game. You're provided with a lot of options for making the game the kind of challenge you like.

I like Infiltration on Realistic. No armor, pistols only (MK23 has minimal marks but try not to use M&E at all), passive or no gadgets and don't use the snap to head shot. They just needed to add in a mandate for not killing any AI (optional maybe, or another mode called 'Ghost Infiltration' or something. There's alot of ways SCC could have been even better.

    Terminator- due to regenerating health

The only bad thing about playing on realistic is that the guards wearing head gear take two headshots before going down. The other annoying thing about D-Ops which is made more apparent in infiltration is that some guards will tend to just fire off a random shot into a wall or door frame or whatever is closest as soon as they see you which equals insta-fail.
