Holy cow! Hard to remember what piece is the king...
I'll stick to the standard chess for now, at least until I master all of it After that I might try this chinese chess, but it's a little hard since my skills in chinese language are very few. Actually there are none at all

You dont need to know chinese to play chinese chess. Just need to know how they move and rules like all other chess.
Chinese chess has some very interesting movement restriction. Your king is basically a prisoner.
Oh.. Go is much more interesting...any good Go software?

king is not prisoner in chinese chess ,he is only lived in the palace beacause chinese king have 3000 wife in average and has lots of troops so why he go out to beat?
