Useless, unless there is nothing better to put in deck..

Hello there!
Here is my little review:
This card at first sight seems cool, but it's obviously a deffensive creature, and it's quite expenive for this porpouse. Almost useless for attacking, blocking it with cheap creature (may be a zombie) is enoutghy to get a to free 3 point retaliatiion block cause his are blast, so most of the times you can only attack once. If u use it for defence, well, may be ypu can make your oponent to think twice if the adjacent ubications are full otherwise he'll get a +3 attack to his melee/flying first row creature for only 3 of damage. The result is that you can only deffend or attack with it once, so too much expense for just one action and the 3 points of attack don't make it a serious threat either.
In the other hand, it can be devastating against little creatures decks (like the deffence stile decks of light) cause you can clean the game area a little bit to take breath.
I think it should adding immune to retaliation will make it more attractive and useful. Or, maybe, it's live should be higher enought to be able to attack and deffend. A 'Can attack the back line' ability will make the difference point making it unique.
Thank you for reading so much

Useless because it kills itself and has to low health for blocking just look at lilim. for attacking the ceberus is better same damage, immune to retaliation, doesn't kill itself and is cheaper. Maybe more health would help to make this creature usefull.

Yeah, as long as he is vulnerable to his own damage he is just too easy to counter, put anything of 4 health in front of him and he probably dies... and that for his high cost.. just not worth it.
He should be cheaper or maybe get some other buff to maybe be usefull, but still I would prefer a Ravager or a Lilim 99% of the times (and both are cheaper...)
Anyway, I don't like to go over 4 might as inferno anyway, so I never play Lacerator.

I agree with all of you, and I wrote a lot about this creature on the french forum. For now she is not playable and that's the same for the Tormentor (2/1/4 Area blast 2 for 3 Might and Ressources).

this card combos very nicely with teleport. I have used it many times to wipe entire armies. If they ever release a inferno with wind spell sphere who can cast storm wind this guy will be a bomb. I see no reason why this dude isn't that good.. the self dmg is not as bad as people are saying. He is cheaper than a 6 cost 3dmg to all creatures and other mass kill effects, his retaliation means that he can block well on the surviving melee. Sure he is a hard card to use but he is usable and can greatly swing the board position. Still I find that with out teleporting he is not that good.

Even with Teleport, with 7 Ressources you can almost cast 2 Fire ball. Anyway 1 Fire ball deals already more damage than Deflagration 3 (4 instead of 3, same area of effect).

but fireball can not hold board position. if you place 1 of these in a top or bottom slot you force the other player to bunch all there drops together enabling fireball to do max dmg. This guy is really good at controlling the board space.

Right, sometime, but Lacerator cannot deal instant damage, contrary to Fire ball.
Anyway you can use other creatures to control the board, the Lacerator has a low Attack value for a level 5 creature, so he is not really menacing. You can give up a row for him, but you can block him with a melee creature as well, in this case maybe you will suffer some damage from Deflagration (not so high) but you will kill the Lacerator the same turn (retaliation), or the next because he will be severely injured as well. To control the board, a single Ravager is certainly not worse.
