Wii-mote support? I want to point-shoot with wiimote!!!!!!!!!!!

i was watching the trailers for ZombiU and, while it looks interesting to use the LCD screen, i am very disapointed that i dont see anyone using a Wii-mote to point and shoot like we do in first-person-shooters on the first Wii.

Pointing-shooting is so much better. I wont be buying this if i am forced to use this controller to play this game. and i love zombie games. that's a shame.

Show us some videos of the wii-mote being used with zombiU and i will be pleased.

IF the lcd screen must be used, at least allow the wii-mote to work with it at the same time so that i hold the lcd-gamepad with only my left hand on the left side of it for strafing.. and my right hand will do all of the firing with the wii-mote

oooooooooooooo.. i just had an idea too! Then if we play like that we could point the wii-mote at the lcd screen to pick items with a little icon-cursor-hand.. since the lcd-gamepad has a sensor-bar built into it.

then we wouldn't even have to use our fingers to touch the display.. we just point our wand at our lcd on our left hand.

another thing we could do is lay the LCDgamepad on the floor or place it in a stand or lean it against something... then we just keep the wiimote+nunchuck in our hands at all times..

and every once in a while we point the wii-mote at the lcd gamepad to pick items and stuff.

all i know, or care about, is that i want to use a motion-controller.. because motion controls feel more futuristic than the wii-lcd-pad... which feels like it's a step back.. controlling the old slow way.

The back of the box confirms that Wiimote + Nunchuck Support is a viable control scheme in ZombiU. My guess is it's used by the survivor player in multiplayer mode. Wii U Classic Controller is also listed as well. So from the looks of it, you can use either the wiimote or classic controller, just only in multiplayer.
Note to my neighbors, those rumblings you heard earlier was not an earthquake, I now have nuclear power.

    Hi,
Yes for multiplier the "survivor" can use either the the Wii motes or the classic / pro pads - the "zombie king" uses the Wii U game pad.

The main game, is only playable using the game pad, since the screen is integral to the gameplay.
