HAWX 2 wont start | Forums

Hi there,
i got a big problem with HAWX2. I reinstalled it several times, even the UPlay Launcher was reinstalled.
But every single time the game says "Running...." but it wont show up, after a short time a new message pops up and it says "Thanks for playing..." (Minutes played: 0 Minutes)
I dont know how to handle that problem, maybe someone had the same and could help me

Btw.: I am running Win7 64bit Version.

Firstly, I'm sorry you're having problems running the game.

Have you updated your graphics drivers?

If you are running a mobile GPU - used in laptops - that can also be an issue - since laptop cards are not support.


If you have updated drivers and still can't start the game, I can only suggest you contact Ubisoft Support - make sure to provide as much information as possible to them.


The first reply maybe a automated reply, with a few things to check - if that does not solve the issue, please make sure to update the ticket and tell them - this will push your issue to the next available support advisor!

my graphic drivers are up to date so far. I bought several games during the last sales. Everything like Anno 2070 and Settlers 7 works fine, but Hawx 2 just wont start

Edit: Strange thing is that if i start HAWX2 he connects to the Patch Server the first request is downloaded (200kb) but the patch (71MB) isnt downloaded, the strange thing is that i patched Anno and Settlers through the launcher, it works fine with this games.
After i manually installed the HAWX2 Patch its still the same "Game Running...." and nothing happens ... sigh

I Bought hawx 2 today and it won't register uplay keeps telling me your server is offline whats going on????????????

I am using Laptop and have the same problem. Does it means Laptop users cannot play the game??? Is there a patch for these?

What a shame Ubi didn't tell before we buy it?

Good luck .. After 1 yr. of these inept service reps giving me the run around, there is still no resolution. I have the EXACT same issue, EXCEPT... It DID work at first(no hardware/OS change either).
I suggest you write it off and move on, I can't even navigate to a web page to start a new ticket...just an error message....

Hawx might b a good game and i wasted ten bucks wish i read these threads first. Its a monoply out here. Bring back novalogic& activision...........

I bought a game today. I cant start the game. When I start the game after few seconds this message appears: UbiSoft game launcher: error code 1.
any suggestions?
