...no there aren't. Heroes II featured 6 factions, Heroes III featured 8 (off the top of my head), IV featured 6, V featured... oh right, 6. Before DLC/Expansions. All of them. I think Heroes I featured 4 factions, but I haven't played that in absolute ages, so I could be off there.
And I think quite a few people want the RMG. Could be me, of course, but given the majority opinion on here. I realise we're talking a vocal minority, most likely, but quite frankly, it's been a standard feature in all the Heroes games to date that's added a great deal to its longevity. I can understand why people desire it, even if I personally don't bother too much with map creation.
My personal feelings on this DLC can be summarised as 'yay Sandro, but why is he here? Like Crag Hack, what's the point to them being here? I thought the old continuity was dead already?'
Followed by 'ooooh, a map about Enroth, the original univer-- oh, never mind, I'd need to re-buy the entire game in a gold edition.Oh well.'
So it's quite likely that I won't be getting this DLC either, at least until something more compelling is presented. I'm prepared to support the franchise, but not this instalment that has been plagued by horrendous business decisions from the word 'go'.
