    First impressions

So far in my first 30 minutes of play I am finding it kind of boring and nowhere near as good as Driver 1 and 2. Sure this game sports new graphics etc but the gameplay isn't as good so far, and the driving and physics model are lame.

On top of that the who switching cars thing seems stupid too, instead of producing a game that allows me to walk around and change in to any car and probably due to their poor implementation in previous installments they just went for some lazy option of making up a BS story that he can now float above the earth and switch cars, not that exciting really.

I only paid $1 but I still question its worth as a game and as a worthy installment in the Driver series.

Driver 2 still stands out as my favorite in the series, it had good action like the first one and had some nice additions.

I mostly agree with you. I like the car handling, it took me a little bit to get used to it, felt weird at first. But the game is pretty boring. I still prefer 3 or 1. I don't know if they're ever gonna get their act together. I've been playing Driver since the beginning, and yes, especially back then, I wasted WAAAAAY too much time playing videogames, especially Driver, but in every game after the first one, I would be playing free roam and wonder why didn't they let us do this or that, it seems obvious that the player would want to do so and so, like crash off the map, except for the invisible walls
DRIVER 6 - my wishlist - Unlicensed Vehicles, Real-Time Car Damage, Car Flipping and Roll-Overs, On Foot AND Shift, Guns, No Invisible Walls, Able to drive of cliffs, jump fences etc, Performance Upgrades, Car Creator basic example, Set up Ramps and Stunts in shift mode, Reduce Framerate to 30fps and add back all the stuff you had to take out, Please and Thank You!!!
