    Microphone Help Please

    Hello Everyone,

I am having problems getting microphones to work well with Rocksmith. My gf likes to sing along while I play but we are having problems. We have used the PS3 Webcam built in microphone and she gets good volume when she sings. Even though singing into a webcam looks awesome, we have tried a couple of different microphones. We tried a sing it microphone and rockband microphone. The problem with these is the volume is terribly low. They work fine in the PS3 accessories settings menu when we were testing them, but in game even with the microphone at 100% volume and everything else cranked down in you can barely hear it. Any ideas? Thanks for reading to everyone who stopped in, and thank you for any suggestions in advance.

    ROCK ON!

I tried to use my turtle beach px5's wireless game headset and I don't think my sing n registered with the game. Where does it show the points for it?

    Usb-xlr

There are XLR to USB adapters available. Haven't really tested. I can test Samson mic with both usb and XLR connection. Those aren't really high end stuff, but way better, clear, loud and sturdy than rb or gh mics. There may be other manufacturers offering XLR-USB mics.

Tried singing RS with Samson. It was as expected superior to any game mic and wasn't too expensive either. Exact model I can't tell, it is in used condition and only slight traces of print left.
