"I hate everything about you" note recognition issue

Hi folks, I think we still have the same issues regarding notes recognition on the first string with bass. I could not get half of the notes to register properly (the game was always telling me I was off by a fret). Only occurs with this one song.

I checked and rechecked my tuning but all was OK...

I was having this issue on some songs too. Try to fret it a little lighter and pluck a little lighter. May help a bit. Also make sure to fret closer to the right edge of fret and not closer to the middle.

I think that i could help if you switch to one pick up too, if your bass has more than one.

My daughter (big TDG fan) has a short scale bass and she said she had a lot of problems with this song, including the tuning. Her bass still has the original strings so I suspect the gauge might be to light to deal with the drop D tuning. I am using a full scale bass and currently working on Plug In Baby (also drop D) and I am not having obvious problems, but I have seen some additional sensitvities on the low "D" string, where the game tells me to move frets when I am on the right fret. I find lighter plucking and being very careful not to bend the string when fretting it help, but I plan to keep a close eye on this as I improve.
I will try to give IHEAY a shot tonight and see if it causes me any new problems.

I fiddled with the issue last night and whoever said to try a different pickup is a Genius ! The P-pickup will give me issues bt not the J-pickup
