[ AC II ] How do I load older save games? | Forums

1. I've lost about 6 hours of game play thanks to the save game issue that seems to be common. I'm aware of the online save toggle, but right now I have a problem with loading my proper save files. There are two saves with the time that I last played so I assume those are the correct files I want to load, but when I went into the "C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\~" folder and deleted the "1.save" "2.save" etc files as per these instructions http://ubisoft-en.custhelp.com/app/a...3665/related/1 there were no saves at all in game. Then I renamed the correct files to "1.save" and "2.save" which had the same result.

Is there another way I can load my proper save files?

2. If I turn off cloud-synch saves in Uplay it reverts to a save about 20 hrs behind which is even older than the 6hrs behind cloud-synch save. If I play with cloud-synch on then allow it to save, would I be able to turn it back off and then load that new save?
