    O/T----- Knees

Well, after the last year or so of fighting the pain and getting shots in both in June that only helped for a week or two, the Doc says we're out of options. So, Sept 12th I get my first knee replacement done, then sometime in Nov, the 2nd. Looks llike I'll finally have time to possibly finish a career.

I feel for you. I come from a family with bad knees. My grandparents on my dad's side, my dad twisted the cartilage in his knees and needed it taken out. In another 30-40 years I'll probably be in the same predicament as you. Hope you get better soon.

I might save some japs for ya to sink when you get back.

    Take it easy.

My best wishes to you mate - my Dad who is 92 has had both his done and now his ankle hurts. He's a tough old bloke.

My knees are also giving me problems so I probably won't be far behind you.

Good luck. I hope you have a great doctor and great physical therapist. Just remember, no matter how good the surgery is, outcome is only as good as the rehab program and how well you comply with it.

Thanks everyone, I hope this all goes smoothly too. I'm really going to miss the motorcycle while I'm recovering. The fall weather in Texas is some of the best all year for riding.
