AC:R was good for what it was......a short game. It was missing alot of sidequests and extra stuff to do, but the story was much better than AC:B. AC2 had a good story and alot of stuff to do, including good locations. So for oveall gameplay, AC2 still trumps all of the others.
The good thing is that every game has had something better than the others that was different than the others and invariably appealed to different people in different ways. They all had their moments and are enjoyable in their own way.
On this land, I am torn. Part of me wants to fight and repel all outsiders. The other part of me is the outsider. In the name of Liberty, I will fight the enemy, regardless of their allegiance. While men of courage write history of this day, the future of our land depends on those who are truly free.
I love ACB. The story may not have been as complex as AC2, but it kept me entertained for hours with varied side content and a great multiplayer. Revelations...not so much.

Revelations is my second favourite right after AC2. I ljust ove the setting and the story.I don't understand all the bashing it gets :/
I really like Brotherhood, too, especially the modern day parts, but I prefer Revelations because of it's story.
I like ACB and ACR equally. ACR imo had better story moments and ACB had more stuff to do after you beat the main story
AC2 by far the best imo
I really enjoyed brotherhood. Not as good as ac2 but still a solid game. The problem with acr for me was it was too bloated. I don't need a hundred types of bombs, and I definitely don't need den defense. I know a lot of people like having a million different ways to kill a target, but imo acr had too much. Otherwise I liked it.
I don't get why so many people don't like the bombs in Revelations. I mean, how could you say "No" to throwing a blood bomb into a place full of people? :P
ill tell you wat i think - i prefer acr
the differences r like this:
acb had more content while acr barely had anything as side quests
acr was smaller in a bit and both had stupid unnecessary mission as part of main story
acb had a weak and awful sstory, awful music and nothing special (no twists) while acr was filled with everything and was very emotional (at times hard to follow, political tensions between ahmet and etc.)
i like acr more coz i care for storyline more, and acr delivered what acb was far from giving in terms of storyline, though they could have made it better if the altair sequences were longer and more revealing.. and if the desmond missions would havent been stupid 1st person cubes :/ they really missed their goal on that
