Don't listen to him/her.
First off, the level cap raise is a welcome addition because you can get more attachment credits to further alter your weapons. If you messed up on some in the early points in the game and ran out like I did, it's a godsend.
Second, the weapons aren't the reason to get it. They're pretty mediocre at best, and they're all just slightly worse versions of weapons you can unlock later on.
The Guerrilla map is a nice addition to the lineup, but considering there are 7 other maps already, and the mode gets repetitive, it wasn't that great of an addition.
The reason to buy it would be the maps, which, thankfully, don't place objectives so stupidly in favor of one team anymore. Not that this doesn't happen ever, which is still a problem, but the objectives do a better job of "staying in the middle" so each side can have a fair chance at getting it. So no Intel Sensors right outside the Ghost base in Pipeline anymore.
Also, the maps are reasonably well made and offer a nice change of pace to most of the other maps.
There are three new maps which are not better than the existing maps at all. The only map worth playing on Artic Strike Out[snorts] is Evicted but even then it is not as fun as the originals. What would really make all of these maps in Strike Out hella-fun would be Snow!!!
Why would they make the DLC for Guerilla have snow and white uniforms but not the MP? That is beyond me.
I pre-ordered this game and bought the DLC the same day it came out and I have to say I have been disappointed so far with the mutiplayer. As far as the single player goes everything is in tip top shape but the MP is a whole 'nother story.
It just seems like everything is being pushed out quickly and the problems are too many to be addressed. If Ubisoft does not get its stuff together I will be walking soon to another game, there are sooooooo many good games coming out that I can easily make my go to game(Last of *s).
I am a fan of this game but the lag is just too much to bear now, I play everday but I have just about had enough. For those of you who say there is no lag, you're in denial--it's very subtle the lag I am talking about, ex. you run behind a wall while enemy is firing at you, you're still alive when you get behind the wall but those bullets still manage to kill you. Clearly shown in the kill-cam as well.
I will hold out just a little longer but time-is-a-ticking.
Do not purchase and wait for them to address the basics that should have been obvious from the get go.
Sorry for the rant guys but it's just gotten to the point.
P.S. we need night modes for each map, make it happen Ubisoft.
I think the Artic Pack DLC is well worth the money.........but........I'm still looking for the snow and or ice.
Don't buy it.
No one plays the game mode, and no one plays the maps.
The weapons are NOT better than the ones you already have.
3 russian based maps, a condom and a coupon worth for a free snicker in the purchase of a can of Kick Energy.
I'd only buy it for the weapons, they have the same stats as the ones you'll have at level 32. The only way to enjoy the game from the start is with those weapons.

I never have a problem finding random people to play on the Arctic Strike maps (based in Europe playing at nights)??? So can't really relate to the comments that no one plays these modes? Hence, the new maps were indeed worth it for me. Played Stockade as late as yesterday and this is a fun mode too.
