    Active/passive pick ups???

Any advantage/disadvantage to having active/passive pups on a bass for Rocksmith? I'm heading out tomorrow to purchase a bass. Looking at the Ibanez SR series, either a SR500, SR700 or even a SR1200, if I'm not mistaken they all have active pups.

    thanks in advance,
    Frank

I think all the new Soundgear basses have at least an active EQ if not active pickups.
My pick-up toggle switch has 3 modes: Swank, Extra Swank, and Super Swank
