I do disagree with the following from the article

Keza: Seriously one of the best games I've ever played. But this is not that, in terms of scope and political ambition.

Mitch: Yeah. People in Far Cry 2 were deeply awful, but not necessarily evil. Here, the characters are cut-and-dry good or bad. I'm fine with that, but it takes away some of the tension in the open world. Now I have friends, a faction that takes control of enemy outposts. I used to love the fear of rolling up on enemies. It was me against the world, and I wasn't that much better than any of them.

This is also a little more like a video game than Far Cry 2 was. You need to climb towers to fix your radar in each area -- very Assassin's Creed. You're taking back the island from the bad men so the nice people can live in peace. I've never been into that aspect of Far Cry 3, but I love exploring this world as much as Far Cry 2, if not more so because it's even less predictable.

To me this game in terms of scope is MUCH larger than FC2 and political ambition? We are on an island where there is no right and wrong, there is no law it is pushing what we as humans are willing to do to survive and this humanity is much more intresting in ambition than what FC2 did (dont get me wrong I did love FC2).

And the characters? IMO they were all evil in FC2 save a few, everyone was in it for their own gain (Just like polititions(sp?) and we all know they only do what they do for their own gain (dem big fat pentions) and they are all evil!) I do however think the Jackal was a morallly grey area. In FC3 you could argue Vaas is evil but you have characters like Citra who could go either way Dr Eairndhart? whats to say that his calm and helpfull front isnt to cover something more sinister.

I also belive there will still be the fear and tension of rolling on enemy outposts and such, as we have been told many times Jason is an everyman so instead you back up and think about, just like you did in FC3.

And more like a video game? I'm sorry I though we where playing a Video game here. Oh wait, I forgot realism and grittyess and all that fecal matter is all the rage nowadays. cause all that grittyness and stuf worked out great for Mass Effect 3 didnt it.

Sorry for the rant, I just dont like that they are comparing FC3 to FC2 when FC3 isnt even out yet its not really fair to compare a game you've had years to play as oppose to one you've played an hour and a half of no SP missions just the open world and have only seen what UBI wants you to have seen with its characters so far. Like I always say, you can't spell Ignorant without IGN.

Apart from that I loved what they where saying about the wild life and everything.
