I think this is a bit of a different situation. If I remember correctly the sources saying there would be gameplay were all unverified and didn't come from Ubisoft or the people who put on the livestream. G4 have said there will be new gameplay. Why should we assume they're lying? Even if they are lying to us it wont be as bad as the PAX fallout because people aren't that hyped about this.

I dont take anything for granted unless it comes from an OFFICIAL source...... And even when that happens, I may doubt haha

On the matter of PAX, we actually had confirmation from sources that had talked to Ubi employees that we would get the gameplay in the stream. Ubisoft never officially verified it, but it is my opinion that the Fragdolls (employed by Ubi) heavily implied it.
