    Master Mode

Hey guys, just a quick question with master mode in bass.

It seems that I can hit over 100k while qualifying for an event, leveling all sections at the same time (and I am very surprised!), but I still have to go into riff repeater, review all sections and see that they are maxed, then play the song, and hit 100K again. Shouldn't the game unlock master mode the first time ?

I think for game to give you access to master mode you have to play it with all sections fully leveled from the beginning of the song.

I could be wrong on this, but I think it will also unlock master mode if by the end of the song you have all of the sections fully levelled. For instance. You could start a song and have a section not be fully levelled. Then when you finish playing that section, you get the levelled up message, maxing out that riff. When you get to the end of the song, if you are over 100k, you will unlock master mode for the song. I'm pretty sure I've seen that happen once or twice, anyway.

Well, according to my experience that is not the case. I played "All the small things" and leveled all sections, but I still had to replay the song. Not sure if you need to go into riff repeater and review all sections prior to that though. Funny thing, this song has "chords" for bass, I did not know bass had chords !

I've seen it go both ways, but in my experience you need to have all sections levelled at the begining in order to unlock master mode. I have seen a few rare occassions where I had just one section that I levelled during a song (on the first encounter of that section) and then it did unlock master mode for me at the end of that run. I am pretty sure if you start with the verse at say 70% and you level it fully by the 4th verse it won't unlock master mode for you, even if you do break 100k.

i've seen one section level up and another section that is very similar or the same, level up with it. so perhaps, there is one section half way through that repeats a part at the beginning of the song that you play and that causes the unleveled section to level up before you get to it so the game gives you credit. just a thought.
