Please explain your policies clearly to your customers

You surely have great PC deals these days but there are also a lot of questions on everybody's mind. People are wondering if they won't be able to download their games after 30 days, if there are any download limitations or any other restrictions.

Explaining these kind of stuffs will definitely be benefits for both parties and it will be really good if you put a good and long FAQ about uplay to clear things for everyone and avoid any misunderstanding about what people can get from uplay.

Uplay seems a good client and I believe you will make it so much better in the near future. Thanks and cheers.

Is steam still an option? Or is uplay mandatory? Simple yes or no will do

previously you only had a set amount of time to download a purchased game from the ubi shop website

now that they have the uplay client and a games library you manage - its pretty much the same as steam/origin as download whenever

Whilst this promotion is brining uPlay 2 to a lot of people for the first time it is actually older than 30 days already. And I can tell you that i can download games from more than 30 days ago. Heck I can download games in it I didn't even get from them (got retail). It is, as said above, Origin like in that regard.

I don't think Steam only was ever an option? Ubisoft games bought on Steam used uPlay before now.

Can someone from Ubisoft confirm this? If so, that would be a big step towards the right direction.

Yes, I can absolutely confirm that you can download your game via the Uplay client as many times as you wish and without limitation in time.

This is true for all games bought from a digital store or retail that use the Uplay client.

The only exception is games bought on Steam, which won't appear in in the Uplay account and have to be downloaded via the Steam client.

When adding a game via a cd from retail, can we stop installation and still have the game downloadable from UPLAY as an option?
